From a young age, I’ve always been drawn to homes and business. There’s something special about the idea of finding the perfect space for someone—a place where they can build their life and create memories. This passion for homes and business naturally led me to explore the world of real estate.
During my senior year of high school, I decided to take the leap and work towards getting my real estate license. Balancing school and studying for the licensing exam was challenging, but I was determined. By the time I started my freshman year at Oregon Institute of Technology, I had achieved my goal—I was officially a licensed real estate agent. It was one of the most rewarding moments of my life, and I knew I had found my calling.
Now, as a sophomore majoring in Business Marketing, I’m seeing how perfectly my major aligns with my real estate career. Marketing and real estate go hand in hand, and I love using what I’m learning in my classes to better serve my clients. Whether it’s crafting compelling property listings, understanding market trends, or building strong client relationships, my education is enhancing every aspect of my work in real estate.
One of the things I absolutely love about this career is the opportunity to help others—whether it’s finding their dream home or guiding someone interested in starting their own real estate journey. Real estate isn’t just about buying and selling properties; it’s about building connections, understanding people’s needs, and being a part of one of the most significant decisions in their lives.
For anyone thinking about getting into real estate, I’m here to say that it’s an incredible journey. It takes hard work, dedication, and a genuine love for helping others, but the rewards are beyond worth it. If you’re passionate about homes, business, and making a difference in people’s lives, real estate might just be the perfect career for you.
